Everything’s blooming nicely

Everything’s blooming in the garden today. The Pear blossom is looking lovely.

Snakeshead fritillaries
Self-seeded violets
Bird cherry

All my lovely daffodils, including the one in the top right which has self-seeded in a fairy mound or perhaps been carried by a small creature – I certainly didn’t plant it there. However I did plant the bright yellow ones at the bottom last autumn and it’s lovely to see them coming up.

The vegetable garden is also coming to life. The onions are looking promising and the broad beans have flowers.

Everything else is germinating and growing slowly either inside or in the seed house.

Today I saw my first ladybird, I transferred it to the roses in the front garden to encourage it to munch some greenfly.
